Day 13 - Theme song

Psalm 100:2

Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.

What’s your theme song? If you don’t have one, get one! Do you have a song in your heart that makes you feel special? What’s that one song (or songs) that when you hear it, you just know everything is going to be alright. I have a secular theme song and a gospel theme song. My secular song is “Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake and I have two gospel theme songs: “You’ve Been so Faithful” by Eddie James and “We Offer Praise” by Rodnie Bryant. When I hear these songs, I know everything is going to be alright. What’s your theme song? What song is in your heart that makes your day greater? You are beautiful!

Thank Lord for our theme songs. Thank you for giving us a song to sing and joy in our hearts. Lord, if I don’t have song, give me one. Give me a song that makes me feel good and think about you. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 

Day 12 - Attitude adjustment

Psalm 119:135

Make your face shine on your servant and teach me your decrees.

Monitor your attitude today, carefully. Try to keep a smile on your face and joy in your heart. Think positively and don’t allow others to change your mood. Keep your mind stayed on God. Concentrate on the good that God has done in your life. Keep your attitude joyful! You are beautiful…not just on the outside, but you are beautiful on the inside as well.

Dear Lord, I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Thank You! Thank You, Lord. Hallelujah! Thank You, Lord!

Day 11 - Walk the runway

Numbers 6:25

…the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;

Pick a few days that you can wear your prettiest outfit with makeup and take a few pictures of your self to commemorate these dress up days. Don’t worry about how you look so much as concentrating on showing off the features you like best. Choose outfits that accentuate your best features. You are beautiful.

Dear Lord, thank you for creating me and all of my curves. Thank you for my beautiful features. Thank you for giving me the wisdom to love myself and accept who I am today and everyday. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 10 - Smile, you’re on Candid Camera

Proverbs 15:13

A cheerful heart brings a smile to your face; a sad heart makes it hard to get through the day.

Smile all day today, even when you are sad. Continue to think happy thoughts all day and remember that you are beautiful. You may want to write a post it note today to remind you to smile. Your smile is beautiful. You are beautiful.

Thank You Lord for my smile and my beauty. Every time I smile, allow me to be greeted with a smile in return. Help me to think happy thoughts all day today. Give me peace and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 9 - Good night

Psalm 127:1-2

If God doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves?

Get a good’s night rest tonight. Try going to bed in time to get at least 8 hours of sleep. You’ll wake up refreshed, without bags under your eyes, and you’re skin will look renewed. You’re beautiful. Get plenty of rest tonight and try to get 8 hours of sleep at least 3 times a week.

Dear Lord, rock me to sleep tonight. Help my mind to rest and give me a peaceful night’s sleep. Allow my dreams to be those of peace and give me at least 8 hours of complete sleep. Allow me to wake up refreshed with glowing and radiant skin. Thank You, Jesus! In Your name, Amen.
