Day 8 - What is your purpose?

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Do you know God’s purpose for your life? He has a plan for your life. He made you in His own image and has work for you to do. God has given you a reason to love yourself. You have a purpose to fulfill for the kingdom and you can’t do that if you don’t acknowledge your beauty. You have to realize your worth and stop the self-loathing. You are beautiful!

Lord God, help me to fulfill my purpose for the kingdom. Help me realize my potential and see my beauty. Thank You for Your unconditional love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 7 - Express your gratitude

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Take the time to tell your significant other or spouse that you are thankful they chose you over all others. He could have chose any woman, but he chose you. You may even want to write a quick note to let them know how thankful you are for their love. If you don’t have a significant other, thank God for choosing you. You are special, royalty, and God chose you.

Thank You God! for choosing me. Thank You for Your love and thank You for allowing someone else to choose me. I give you all the glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 

Day 6 - Post it

1 Corinthians 6:20

…you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Use post it notes to leave notes around the house and in your car reminding you of how beautiful you are. You can write anything positive on the notes that will encourage you and remind you that you are beautiful. Leave the post it notes up for the remainder of this month and add new ones as you think of more positive ideas. You may also use positive quotes from others. You may want to start with the quote: “I am beautiful.” You are beautiful.

Thank You Jesus for the reminder that I am beautiful and that You love me unconditionally. Thank You for making me in your image and that I am wonderfully made. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 5 - Just say No

1 Corinthians 10:31

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Today’s challenge may be a little difficult. Pray and ask God for strength. Resist fast food, fried foods, and sugar today. Drink at least 8 glasses of water. Feeding your body healthy substances makes you feel better. If you would like to really challenge yourself…try this for the rest of the month. Continue to tell yourself; “I am beautiful.”

Lord, give me the strength to eat healthy today and cleanse my body. Thank You for Your love and keep all temptation away from me. If I am tempted, please allow a quick escape. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 4 - Share your love

John 13:34

 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

Today, make a point to share love with at least 5 other women. Say something kind, sincere, and truthful to encourage them. Encouraging others makes you feel good. Find a good quality to point out or an article of clothing to compliment. Make sure you find at lest 5 other women today to encourage. Watch their reaction to your comments and thank God that you were able to share something positive in the lives of others.

Thank You, Lord for not only making me in your image, but also making others in your image. Thank you for allowing me to be able to share with other women the love that you share with me daily. I ask that you will use me to bring joy to another woman as you bring joy to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
